The Farm Fresh Chef, founded in 2007, is a Washington-based provider of the highest-quality produce, meats, eggs, and prepared foods. Our products are sourced from fifty-six organic and certified organic farms in Pennsylvania and Maryland, in the Chesapeake watershed.

The FFC also operates the Brookford Gardens Farm Club, an innovative, CSA-style farm program that enables members to order our products, including produce and meats, on a weekly basis for Wed./Thurs. pickups and deliveries. Learn more about the BGFC.
Suzanne Hermes
Suzanne is a chef, baker, and grower of organic vegetables including her favorite, garlic! She has a holistic nutrition background and believes that fresh chemical-free and organically grown food should be easily accessible to everyone. She manages Farm Fresh Chef, Brookford Gardens Farm Club, and the Potomac Farmers Market in Potomac, MD. When she is not baking, cooking or tending to her vegetables, you can find her selling her additive-free delicious baked goods and all of the FFC's other products at the Potomac and Clarksburg Farmers' Markets.
Alison McConnell
Alison is the founder of The Humble Gourmand, an Alexandria-based prepared foods outfit set to launch in July 2009. She teaches cooking classes, prepares crepes to order every Sunday at the Clarksburg Farmers' Market, and publishes a monthly online magazine at http://humblegourmand.com.
